The Tiara 4000 was built in Michigan from 1994 thru 2004.
This 4000 has the A-plan layout with aft cabin, has a 14’6” beam and boasts a roomy comfortable interior, and great interior headroom at 7’ along with great exterior seating. She has the Honey Ash veneer interior, a solid teak and holly sole, Tiara factory hardtop ,and is powered with Cummins 6CTA 8.3m 450’s with 646 hours on them. The 9 KW Onan has 500 hours on it. Exterior:
HELM AND EXTERIOR
Starting on the transom you see a large swim platform with concealed telescopic swim ladder; surrounding the platform is a stylish, stainless steel, custom built safety rail with port and starboard side gates, a great place to add a couple of deck chairs and a sunshade. On the transom is an electric transom door which conceals a 105 cubic inch storage bay. In the storage bay is water maker, plenty of room for lines, fender, and fold away bicycles.
Both sides of the transom are molded steps leading to a comfortable aft deck with triple forward and aft facing seats. Under the aft seat is storage and built-in cooler, access to the engine room is under the center aft facing seat. The sole can be raised slightly to allow a bit of head room and light aft into the engine bay. There are also two hi-low retractable tables that come out of the sole, allowing 6 people to comfortably dine on the aft deck. Both sides of the cockpit have molded fiberglass boarding steps and speakers, starboard side on the aft deck are an ice maker and sink. The deck is covered with a sunshade.
On the upper deck are three nice Flexsteel helm seats. The upper deck is covered with a Tiara factory hardtop mounted to a factory cruising arch. The Tiara has a solid aluminum aircraft style windshield with center vent. Port side on the upper deck is a sliding acrylic salon door, center is a chart case with four cup holders, the helm is to the port side. Just like the windshield, the Tiara 4000 Express has a charcoal grey aircraft style helm that will tilt forward to get to the back of the helm and service the gauges and electronics. All the VDO gauges at the helm are in good, clear condition, the rocker switches are in good condition. For electronics there is a Garmin GPS map XSV – a newer Garmin touch screen, newer Garmin auto pilot and Garmin depth, for communication there is a Standard VHF. The upper helm can be enclosed with a canvas enclosure.
INTERIOR
Cabins, Galley, Heads & Dinette
The Tiara 4000 Express boasts a roomy, comfortable interior and has the A-plan layout, which includes the mid cabin. The interior is dry, there are no old water stains in the wood and no foul odors. The vessel offers the optional light ash veneer interior and a solid teak and holly sole. You will see that the galley is on the port side of the salon with Corian countertop, stainless steel sink, coffee maker and microwave and a three-burner cook top. Under the galley is a newer Avanti fridge and Staigis wine cooler. Opposite in the salon is a large dinette and lounge with two removable dinette bar stools. The hi-low dinette table will convert into a sleeper with removable cushions. The dinette seats 6 people. On the aft bulkhead is a larger flat screen TV. In the mid cabin is a concealed Vacu – Flush commode a sink with vanity, a queen-sized bed and large storage lockers above the bed. In the cabin are AC and DC cabin lights and the cabin has a solid tri-fold door.
The owner’s cabin is forward with another solid tri-fold privacy door. The owner’s bed is an inline bed with storage below, in the cabin are two cedar-lined smaller hanging closets, indirect lighting, air conditioning panel with reverse cycle. The owners can access the head through a privacy door. In the bathroom is a Vacu-Flush commode, stand up stall shower, sink with vanity with solid teak and holly sole.
Your family and guests can also enter the head through a solid door from the salon, when they are in the bathroom the door to the owner’s cabin can be closed for privacy.
EXTERIOR
Engine Bay & Hull
The engine bay is accessed through the center aft facing seat on the aft deck. On the aft bulk head is the fire suppression system, propeller mounts with spare props. All batteries are 2020 batteries. The 6-cylinder Cummins 6CTA 8.3 450 @ 2600 RPM’s have 647 original hours on them as of January 4, 2024. The propulsion is a V-drive system coupled up to ZF transmissions with 2” dripless shaft and 3 blade 24/25 size props. The generator is a 9KW 3-cylinder Onan in a sound shield and as of January 4, 2024 it shows 500 hours on the hour meter.
The vessel has a very aggressive non skid finish, a self-draining cockpit with newer cockpit coaming bolsters. The bottom of the vessel was painted and serviced in late 2022. At the bow is a molded in pulpit, flush mounted anchor locker with all chain and windlass foot controls, factory cruising arch, factory hardtop with hatches and aircraft styled windshield with center vent and safety glass.

Wayne Lea and United Yacht Sales present to you “Unashamed,” a clean, well-maintained 2007 39 Tiara Sovran. Unashamed is powered with IPS 500 D6 diesel motors with 841 hours on them as of (5-16-24) with Volvo IPS-B PODs. All maintenance on the POD’s and Volvos is up to date, all upgrades and servicing has been performed by a local authorized Volvo dealer. If you are currently in the market and looking for a Tiara 39 Sovran, do yourself a favor and look at this vessel. The current owners recently had a brand new Garmin electronic package installed and engine displays, along with a new Garmin Radar. The Tiara has all new, out-of-the-box air conditioning units installed throughout the entire vessel, along with a new pump and pressure hose. The 11.5 KW Onan generator is the larger generator that Tiara offered for the 39 because of the two helm AC units, the gen has 739 hours as of (5-16-24). The generator is in a sound shield and has recently been fully refurbished. The current owners also upgraded to a newer VHF handset, added all new sea strainers with upgraded O-Rings. Dry cell batteries were installed about two years ago, the fire suppression system has recently been serviced and new battery charger has also recently been installed. There are new alternators and belts on the mains and the trim tabs have recently been serviced. All the vessel’s exterior seats show well, the vessel has a shine to the gel coat, the interior is in wonderful condition. Unashamed has an attractive single stateroom interior with solid genuine teak veneer finish, aft in the salon is a media room, the vessel offers a large head with a stand up stall shower and a fair size galley with the owners stateroom forward. Tiara Yachts are renowned for building quality yachts in USA – Unashamed will be a great boat to own.
TRANSOM AND AFT DECK:
On the transom is a 48” swim platform with concealed telescopic swim ladder, a handheld transom shower with hot and cold water, a freshwater wash down along with a raw water washdown. In the transom is a transom trunk storage compartment with fiberglass liner with solid a fiberglass door. Port side on the transom is the 50-amp shore power with Glendening cable recoiler. Starboard side on the transom is a transom entry gate that leads on to the lower cockpit. In the lower cockpit is a wrap-around lounge with a removable table, this area will also convert into a sun pad. The boat’s battery isolator switches are very easy to locate. In the aft cockpit sole is the engine room inspection hatch and for full engine room access the entire lower cockpit sole will lift, allowing very easy access to the engine bay. When not in use the aft cockpit can be covered and protected with the aft drop curtain. Separating the lower cockpit and the upper cockpit are two drop down curtains.
UPPER COCKPIT AND HELM:
Starboard side in the upper cockpit are the fridge and wet bar with cup holders. Port side is a curved companion seat with table, forward of the seat are a stereo, cup holders and chart holder. The salon door is a center line, sliding tinted acrylic door with bug screen and to the right of the sliding door is the hinged helm and an electrically actuated Captains seat. The dark blue helm is well laid out with all new out of the box Garmin electronic package, toggle switches are like new. There is the Volvo Penta joystick, a wood wheel and two AC panels. The upper cockpit and helm are covered by a stylish custom composite hardtop that is integrated into a composite windshield with tempered safety glass, eliminating any canvas between the top of the windshield and hard top. Built into the windshield is an electric center line windshield vent and there are three windshield wipers.
INTERIOR, OWNERS BERTH AND GALLEY:
You enter the salon down teak companion way steps with a safety rail. The salon is roomy and comfortable with teak veneer finish. Aft in the salon and on the starboard side in an entertainment room with two sofas and a flat screen TV. The salon sole is a beautiful solid teak and holy sole that is in great condition. Aft on the port side will be the head with a solid privacy door with a teak and holy sole. In the head you are going to see a fiberglass stand up stall shower, Vacu flush toilet, clear glass sink and a medicine cabinet. Just forward and on the same side in the salon is the salon sofa with a nice teak and birdseye maple high gloss table. Running along the hull side above the sofa there are storage cabinets. The owner’s berth is forward through solid sliding teak doors, port and starboard in the berth are hull side storage cabinets, you will notice two cedar-lined hanging closets. The room is climate-controlled and has two recessed reading cabin lights. The bed is an inline bed, easy to make, easy to get in and out of, with storage under it and drawer storage below.
HULL AND DECK:
Tiara Yachts are well known for the custom diamond pattern nonskid deck surface. Unashamed has a 48” swim platform with a deadrise of 14.5 degrees. The underwater through hull fitting and seacocks are bronze. Along the hull there are a total of 5 stainless steel recessed portlights, molded hull side engine room ventilators. Forward on the foredeck are 2 cast aluminum deck hatches. You will notice that the pulpit is molded into the hull with stainless steel roller, also mounted on the pulpit is an ACR RCL remote bow light. Running down each side of the hull is a one-piece stainless steel 316L bow rail. On the foredeck is a Maxwell windlass with flush mounted foot controls and a flush mounted anchor locker with a washdown. For the sun lovers there are removable sun pad cushions with cupholders that are in great condition.
ENGINE ROOM:
The lower cockpit sole can be lifted to access the pair of maintained Volvo diesels model # D6 370 KA with maintained and upgraded Volvo IPS model # IPS-B (serial numbers are available).
There is also a day/inspection hatch for an easier visual inspection of the engine room while under way. The engine bay is roomy, fairly easy access to the vessel’s battery banks. Both Volvos have recently had the alternators replaced. Unashamed travels with spare props. The generator is upgraded to accommodate for the bridge AC and in an 11.5KW Onan.
